Getting Started: Connect the LTK Channel
One of the first steps to activating this opportunity is connecting to the LTK sales channel on The Folklore platform:
Selling → Sales Channels → Opportunities → LTK
Once connected and you activate your products to the LTK sales channel, your brand’s products will be eligible for creators to begin linking your products within their content.
To activate your products to LTK sales channel in bulk on The Folklore platform:
Products → Check Box for Products To Activate → Bulk Actions Button → Set As Active → Select LTK Box → Activate Button
What is LTK?
LTK is a leading influencer marketplace that empowers creators, influencers, and brands to drive measurable sales through authentic, shoppable content. Built to connect inspiration with purchase, LTK allows influencers to tag products directly in their social posts and LTK storefronts, enabling their audiences to shop seamlessly while earning creators a commission for each sale generated.

Consumers can use the LTK app to discover product details tagged by creators within their content and shop those items directly from your website.
Advantages of Being Integrated on LTK via The Folklore
When your brand is integrated:
- Creators automatically gain the ability to drive traffic and sales to your The Folklore consumer storefront using LTK links featured in their content — no additional steps are required from your brand to activate this feature.
- Creators can tag your products in LTK-enabled content and link directly to your The Folklore consumer storefront.
- If your products are activated on your The Folklore consumer storefront, it can be linked on LTK by a creator.
- Creators pull product imagery directly from your The Folklore consumer storefront, selecting from the images/products you’ve uploaded, and can choose which image will appear within their LTK post.
To maximize engagement, LTK has recommended posting across your brand’s social platforms to let your community and creator network know that your brand is now available to link on LTK through The Folklore’s consumer shop.
Please note:
- Creators are not required to tag your products in their content.
- LTK does not automatically tag your products when a creator publishes content.
How Creators Link Your Brand on LTK
Approximately 98% of revenue-generating links on LTK are created using the Link Ninja tool — a deep-link generation feature that allows creators to generate commissionable links directly from your website.
Creators can link your products by:
- Logging into their LTK Creator account
- Navigate to The Folklore’s Shop and search the name of your products
- Activating the Link Ninja bookmarklet on desktop or using the Link Ninja tool within the LTK Creator App
- Selecting Get Link or Save to Folder
- Sharing the generated link across social platforms or tagging the product in an LTK post

Fees for Sales Driven by LTK Creators
For orders generated as a direct result of an influencer or creator driving a sale through LTK to your brand’s The Folklore consumer storefront, the following selling fees apply:
Total Selling Fees: 17%

LTK Creator Fee: 10%
Paid to the creator by LTK via automated payout for the sale they helped drive. -
LTK Transaction Fee: 2%
Covers LTK’s transaction processing and payment handling related to creator-driven sales. -
The Folklore Fee: 5%
Covers The Folklore’s platform support, storefront hosting, operational management, and partnership administration for the LTK channel.
How Fees Are Applied
- Fees apply only to orders that are attributed to an LTK creator link.
- The total 17% is deducted from the order value before payout to the brand.
- Standard fulfillment timelines and payment processing remain the same as other consumer storefront orders unless otherwise stated.
Enabling LTK now will make it easier for creators to begin promoting your products as you continue preparing for upcoming launches.
