Follow these steps to sync your a specific Shopify Warehouse with The Folklore.
Features
- Product Sync – Name, description, prices, images, variants, etc. Any updates made in your Shopify store will reflect in your Folklore catalog.
- Inventory Tracking – Real-time stock count updates.
- Order Sync – Orders from The Folklore are synced to your Shopify store for visibility.
Step 1: Start the Shopify integration
- In the sidebar, go to Account Settings > Integrations
- On the Integrations page, find Shopify and click the Settings button.
Step 2: Create a custom app in Shopify
- Open a new tab, and log in to your Shopify admin.
- Go to Apps → click App and sales channel settings.
- Click Develop apps (top right).
- Click TheFolklore Integration
- Click on the "Configuration" tab
- Click on the "Edit" button on the left of the Admin API Integration.
Step 3: Set API permissions
- Add "read_locations" and "write_locations" permission scopes.
- Under Admin API integration, click Configure or Edit
Click Save.
You’re all set!
Your Shopify products will now begin syncing automatically with The Folklore. Any product updates you make in Shopify will reflect in your Folklore catalog.
Orders generated through The Folklore will appear on your Shopify orders page for reference, but all fulfillment must be completed within The Folklore portal.
