When fulfilling Dropship orders through The Folklore, various transaction fees may apply depending on the sales channel and services used. Below is a breakdown of the most common fees and where to view them.
Where to View Fees
- Log in to your Folklore Dashboard
- Navigate to Orders in the navigation menu
- Click All Orders and select the specific order by clicking the order number
- On the Order Page, scroll to the pricing and payment section to view a breakdown of all fees and deductions associated with the order
Standard Fees by Sales Channel
The Folklore Consumer Storefront
- 6% transaction fee
- Stripe payment processing fee: 2.9% + $0.30
The Folklore Wholesale Storefront
- 2.5% transaction fee
- Stripe payment processing fee: 2.9% + $0.30
3rd-Party Marketplace Orders
- 5% The Folklore transaction fee (unless otherwise noted on marketplace partner profile)
- Additional marketplace-specific fees (see below)
Partner Marketplace Fees (if applicable)
You can find the fees for each partner listed on their individual pages in Marketplace Connect. In general, fees range from approximately 6.5% to 24%, depending on the specific marketplace.
Shipping Costs
- Shipping label costs (if generated by The Folklore) will be deducted from your payout
- The shipping label cost will appear as a line item on the Order Page
