Easily activate multiple products across various platforms in bulk, increasing visibility and expanding your reach.
This guide outlines the steps to activate products in bulk on The Folklore platform.
Step 1: Log In to the Platform
Begin by logging into your The Folklore Dashboard.
Step 2: Navigate to Product Catalog
Click on Products in the navigation menu.
Select Product Catalog.
Step 3: Choose Products to Activate
On the Product Catalog page, you can activate products individually or in bulk:
Activate Individually: Click the three dots button next to the product and select Activate Product.
Activate in Bulk: Check the boxes next to the products you want to activate.
After selecting the products, click Bulk Actions.
From the drop-down menu under Bulk Actions, select Activate Product(s).
Activating Products in the Consumer Storefront
In the activation pop-up, mark the box Activate on Consumer Storefront.
Click Activate to submit your bulk product activation request.
Ensure all required Consumer fields (e.g., Consumer Quantity, Fulfillment) are complete.
If fields are missing, you’ll see a bulleted list of the missing items. Complete them and resubmit.
Activating Products in the Wholesale Storefront
In the activation pop-up, mark the box Activate on Wholesale Storefront.
Click Activate to submit your bulk product activation request.
Ensure all required Wholesale fields (e.g., Order Minimum and Maximum) are complete.
If fields are missing, you’ll see a bulleted list of the missing items. Complete them and resubmit.
Activating Products in Marketplaces & Social Media
In the activation pop-up, mark the boxes for 3rd Party Marketplace and/or Social Media & Search.
If you select 3rd Party Marketplace:
A drop-down menu will display the marketplaces you are approved to sell on.
You can activate on one or multiple marketplaces, or choose Activate on all 3rd Party Marketplaces.
If you select Social Media & Search:
A drop-down menu will show the available platforms.
You can activate on one or multiple platforms, or choose Activate on all Social Media & Search platforms.
Click Activate to submit your request.
⚠️ Note: Not all subscriptions include access to Marketplaces or Social Media integrations. Confirm your subscription plan before proceeding.
Confirmation and Missing Fields
If your request is successfully submitted, you’ll see a confirmation message.
If required fields are missing, a bulleted list will appear. Complete these fields and resubmit.
Product Publishing Status
Once submitted, the products will be published to the selected platforms.
If the marketplace allows instant publishing, your products will be live within hours.
If the marketplace requires approval and your product is denied, The Folklore will notify you with the reason for the denial.
View Product Status
After publishing, confirm the product is active by checking the Sales Channels section on the product page:
Green filled square → The channel is active
Empty square → The channel is not active
All available channels will appear in the list, but only those with a green icon indicate that the product is currently active on that marketplace or platform.
