Orders placed on Shop are fulfilled via a drop-ship model, meaning inventory and shipping are handled directly by the brand. The Folklore does not manage or hold inventory, nor is responsible for shipping products. Below are the steps to efficiently fulfill consumer orders:
Steps to Fulfill Consumer Orders

Log In to The Folklore Dashboard
- Visit The Folklore dashboard and enter your email and password to access your account.

Access Customer Orders
- Navigate to Commerce > Customer Orders from the navigation bar.

Locate the Order
- Use the search bar to quickly find the order by order number, customer name, or date.

Open the Order Details
- Click on the order number to view the order details page.

Click Fulfill Order
- On the order details page, click the Fulfill Order button.

Generate and Download Shipping Label
- Click Generate Shipping Label and download the shipping documents that appear in the pop-up.

Package the Product
- Package the product(s) according to The Folklore’s packaging requirements. For more details, visit here.
- Attach all shipping documents to the package.

Courier Handoff
- Arrange for the courier to collect the package for delivery.
Shipping Requirements
Immediate Ship Products
- If all items in the order are marked as Immediate Ship, ship the order within 3 business days.
- Failure to ship within 5 business days will result in the order being canceled, and the customer will be refunded.
Made to Order Products
- If any items are marked as Made to Order, all items must be shipped together according to the listed lead time.
- Failure to ship within the grace period (5 business days after the lead time expires) will result in automatic order cancellation and a refund to the customer.
No Partial Shipping
- Orders cannot be shipped partially. All products, including immediate ship and made to order items, must be shipped together.
- If an order contains mixed product types (e.g., immediate ship and made to order), the entire order will be shipped once the made to order items are ready.
By adhering to these steps and shipping requirements, you ensure smooth and timely order fulfillment, maintaining customer satisfaction and preventing cancellations.
