The Notifications feature allows you to receive order-related notifications at a different email address than your primary account email.
This is useful if you want order alerts to be sent to a dedicated operations, fulfillment, or customer support inbox while continuing to receive account-related communications at your primary email address.
How Notifications Work
Your Account email address will continue to receive:
- Password reset emails
- General account updates
- Billing invoices
- Subscription renewal notifications
Your Notifications email address will receive:
- New order alerts
- Fulfillment reminders
- Shipping issue notifications
- Return notifications
How to Update Your Order Notification Email
- Log in to your The Folklore account.
- Navigate to Account Settings → Account Details.
- Select the Notifications tab.
- Enter the email address where you want to receive order notifications.
- Click Save Changes.
When Should You Use a Different Notification Email?
You may want to use a separate notification email if:
- Your fulfillment team manages incoming orders.
- Your warehouse or operations team handles shipping.
- You want order notifications to go to a shared team inbox.
- You prefer to separate account management emails from operational communications.
Important Notes
- Changing your notification email does not change your account login email.
- Your primary account email will continue to receive security, billing, and subscription-related communications.
- Only order-related notifications will be sent to the email address configured in the Notifications tab.
