If an order is placed for a product that is no longer available or out of stock, it’s important to notify The Folklore right away so we can take the appropriate steps to update the customer and issue a refund if needed.
1. Notify The Folklore Immediately
As soon as you realize the item is unavailable:
- Email shop@thefolklore.com with the order number and the name(s) of the unavailable product(s)
2. We’ll Update the Order
Once notified:
- The Folklore team will cancel or partially cancel the order in our system
- The change will be reflected on the Order Summary and Order Page
- We’ll notify the customer via email and issue a full or partial refund, depending on the number of items affected
3. Avoiding Future Issues
To prevent future order issues:
- Keep your inventory updated on The Folklore dashboard and connected third-party marketplaces
- If you're using manual uploads, review your product availability regularly and archive or mark out-of-stock items promptly
