Free Trial Version of the Platform

The Free Trial allows brands to explore The Folklore platform for 7 days without entering card details. During this period, you’ll have limited access to key features. Certain tools will be gated and will prompt you to subscribe in order to continue using them.

After the 7-day trial ends, your next login will redirect you to a page where you must enter your card details and select a plan to continue using the platform. Once payment is successful, you’ll be guided through the Onboarding Form and then into the full version of the platform.

What Happens When a Feature Is Gated?

Whenever you attempt to use a gated feature during the free trial, a pop-up will appear with the message:
“To utilize this function, start your subscription.”

Clicking Subscribe Now will take you to the plan selection and payment page, followed by the onboarding flow.

What Does the Free Trial Include?

During your trial, you can view, test, and partially use the following features:

• View dashboard activity

Product Management
You can:

• Add products

• Edit product details

• Integrate Shopify & WooCommerce

• Bulk upload products

• View product catalog

• Edit product pages

With AI limits:

• Create up to 3 AI product names

• Create up to 3 AI product descriptions

• Create up to 3 AI product images

Orders

• View All Orders

• View Consumer Orders

• View Wholesale Orders

Shipping (Partial Access)

• Generate shipping quotes

• View Track Shipments page

• Purchasing shipping labels requires a subscription

Retailer Connect (Limited Access)
You can:

• View up to 10 retailers (5 rows)

• Filter retailers

• View retailer profiles

• Make phone calls to retailers (calls do not count toward quotas)

With AI limits:

• Create up to 3 AI phone messages

• Create up to 3 AI Instagram messages

Marketing – Create Content (Limited)

• Generate up to 3 AI images

• Generate up to 2 AI videos

Member Benefits (Limited Viewing)
You can view:

• Up to 12 Freelancers (3 rows)

• Up to 12 Manufacturers (3 rows)

• Up to 12 Brands in Member Discovery (3 rows)

Account & Utilities (Full Access)

• Account Settings

What Requires a Paid Subscription?

The following actions will trigger a pop-up asking you to subscribe:

• Purchasing shipping labels after generating a quote

What Happens When a Feature Is Locked?

When you attempt to access a locked feature, you will see this message:
“To utilize this function, start your subscription.”
Button: Subscribe Now

Clicking Subscribe Now takes you to:

• Plan selection

• Card payment

• Onboarding form

• Full platform access

After Your Free Trial Ends

Once your 7-day free trial expires:

• You will no longer be able to access gated features

• On your next login, you will be asked to:

  • Enter your card information

  • Choose a plan

  • Complete onboarding

• After payment, all platform features unlock
