Onboarding Process
Once your account is set up, you’ll be guided through a quick onboarding process to personalize your brand’s experience.
- Completion time: The onboarding process takes about 10 minutes to complete.
- Save progress: If you need to step away, you can save your progress and return later. Simply log back in when you're ready to continue.
- Click "Complete Onboarding" to begin.

Provide your brand details:
First and last name
Brand name
Founder name
Year founded
Phone number (include country code)
Website (optional)
Instagram handle (optional)
Location Information
Enter your:
Address
City
State/Province
Country
Postal code
Brand Profile for Sales Channels
This information appears on your Folklore storefront.
Upload brand logo (required, square 1:1 format)
Add feature images (optional, aspect ratio: 736 x 350)
Write your brand story (preferably in English)
Select brand department (clothing, accessories, shoes, etc.)
Add identity (e.g., Afro-descendant, women-founded, Latino, etc.)
Choose values and practices (handmade, sustainable, eco-friendly, etc.)
Selling Information
Consumer Selling
Select order fulfillment time
Indicate if you have UPC/GTIN barcodes
Confirm or update shipping address
Wholesale Selling
Select fulfillment time
Enter payment terms (e.g., 40% upfront, balance upon delivery)
Add minimum order and reorder values
List current stockists (optional)
Confirm or update shipping address
Banking Information
Required to receive payments.
Bank name and type (personal or business)
Account holder name
Currency
SWIFT code, routing number, or IBAN
Bank account number (must accept international transfers)
Bank address (if different)
Preferences (Optional)
Preferred shipping companies
Whether you’re looking for freelance talent

You can update or add missing information at any time in your Account Settings.
