To contact retailers, you must first connect your Gmail account. This allows you to send emails directly from the platform, and replies will go straight to your personal inbox.
Follow these steps to connect your account:
Step 1: Navigate to Retailer Connect
- Log in to your Folklore account.
- From the main menu on the left, click on the Selling tab.
- Select Retailer Connect from the submenu that appears.
Step 2: Click "Connect Google Account"
On the "Retailer Connect" page, find the Contact Retailer box on the right. Click the button labeled Connect Google Account.
Step 3: Choose Your Google Account
A Google "Sign in" pop-up window will open. Choose the account you wish to connect to The Folklore. If your account isn't listed, you may need to select "Use another account."
Step 4: Confirm Sign-in
Google will display the basic information (name, email, profile picture) that The Folklore will access. Click Continue to proceed.
Step 5: Grant Email Permission
This is the most important step. Google will ask for permission for The Folklore to access your Google Account.
- You must check the box next to "Send email on your behalf."
Click Continue to finalize the permissions.
Step 6: Connection Complete
Once you click "Continue," the pop-up window will close, and you will be returned to the Retailer Connect page. You will see a confirmation notification for a successful connection, and the "Connect Google Account" button will be replaced with a text box for you to compose your email.
