The Analytics Dashboard provides a single, easy-to-read view of how your products perform across all sales channels connected to The Folklore, including marketplaces, The Folklore storefronts, and external platforms like Pinterest, Google Shop, and Faire.
It helps you quickly understand your visibility, sales performance, and revenue impact, both overall and by individual channel.
Note: Data refreshes once per day, so new activity may take up to 24 hours to appear.
1. How to Access the Dashboard
Log into your The Folklore account.
From the left sidebar, select Selling → Analytics.
Use the filters at the top to view results for the last 7 days or last 30 days.
2. Key Metrics and Definitions
The dashboard displays grouped insights in four main areas:
Visibility Metrics
These show how many shoppers are discovering and interacting with your products across all connected channels.
| Metric | Definition |
|---|---|
| Impressions | Number of times your products were displayed (for example, on Google Shopping results, Pinterest feeds, or The Folklore storefront). |
| Clicks / Product Page Views | Number of visits to your product detail pages from any channel. |
| Engagement | Actions showing shopper interest — likes, saves, shares, or adds to cart (depending on the channel). |
| Equivalent Ad Value (EAV) | The estimated marketing value of your visibility, based on industry benchmarks for cost-per-impression and cost-per-click. |
Hover over any (i) icon beside a metric for its quick definition.
Selling and Revenue Metrics
These summarize your commerce performance across all channels combined.
| Metric | Definition |
|---|---|
| Total Orders | Number of orders placed for your products. |
| Fulfilled Orders | Orders that have been processed and shipped. |
| Units Sold | Total quantity of items sold. |
| Returned Orders | Orders that included at least one returned item. |
| Conversion Rate | Percentage of sessions that ended in a completed order. (Formula: Completed Checkouts ÷ Sessions) |
| Gross Sales | Total sales value before discounts, refunds, or shipping. |
| Discounts & Refunds | Amounts deducted or reimbursed to customers. |
| Net Sales | Gross Sales − Discounts − Refunds. |
| Shipping Charges | Total shipping fees collected. |
| Total Sales | Net Sales + Shipping Charges. |
3. Channel Performance and Breakdowns
The Sales Overview section displays all the active sales channels where your products are published — for example:
Shop by Shopify
Pinterest
Google Shop
Faire
The Folklore Consumer Storefront
The Folklore Wholesale Storefront
(and any other connected platforms)
Click any channel tile to open a popup window with its specific analytics.
Each popup includes:
Channel name and logo
Performance cards for that channel’s key metrics (orders, sales, returns, etc.)
A Top 5 Products table showing which products perform best on that platform
The data displayed per channel depends on what that platform shares — some provide impressions and engagement, others only orders and revenue.
4. Product Overview – Top 5 Products
This table highlights your best-performing products across all connected channels during the selected date range.
For each product, you’ll see:
Product Name
Engagement (combined interactions such as saves or adds to cart)
Page Views / Clicks (total visits from Google Shop, Pinterest, and The Folklore Storefront)
Orders (number of orders that included that product)
If no data appears, your products may not have generated traffic yet, or the data is still syncing.
5. Tips and Reminders
Data refreshes once per day.
You’ll only see analytics for channels where your brand is active.
Some metrics may display 0 if that channel doesn’t share that information.
The dashboard provides a high-level overview designed for quick insight rather than detailed analytics.
Review it weekly to track where your brand gains visibility and which channels convert best.
