Once a Source Talent project is active, it’s important to manage project details, payments, and communication effectively to ensure smooth collaboration with your service provider. Below are the steps to manage your Source Talent projects on The Folklore platform.
Accessing the Projects Page

Log in to The Folklore Dashboard
- Visit The Folklore dashboard and log in with your credentials.

Navigate to the Projects Page
- Go to Source Talent > Projects from the navigation bar.
- Here, you can review and manage all your Source Talent projects.
- Columns include info on project number, client name, total, date created, status, and actions.
Project Information Overview

Click on any project to view more details, including:
- Service Type
- Service Name
- Project Fee
- Billing Type
- Payment Terms
- Description
- Start Date
- Estimated Delivery Date
- Notes
Managing Project Status
There are two ways to manage the status of a project and communicate important details to your service provider:
1. The Folklore Messenger
- On-Platform Communication
- Use The Folklore Messenger to communicate with your service provider directly.

2. Off-Platform Communication
- Off-Platform Communication
- Service providers may use email, phone, WhatsApp, etc., for communication.
- The Folklore does not have visibility into off-platform communications and cannot guarantee support in the event of disputes based on messages sent outside the platform.
Modifying a Project
1. Pre-Activated Projects
- No Modifications Allowed
- If modifications are required before a project is approved, the service provider must cancel the existing proposal and create a new one for the client to review.
2. Post-Activated Projects
- No Modifications Allowed
- Once a project is marked as active, no changes can be made on the platform.
- If modifications are needed, the service provider must email source@thefolklore.com to request the changes.
- The Folklore will seek confirmation from the client to process the modification.
Canceling a Project

- To cancel an active project, the service provider should request cancellation by messaging the brand through The Folklore Messenger.
- Service providers will need to submit a cancellation request by emailing source@thefolklore.com.
- The Folklore will request cancellation confirmation from the client to process the request.
