Requesting a quote is essential when collaborating with retailers or partners to ensure clear communication about project details, costs, and timelines. Follow these steps to efficiently request quotes and maintain alignment with your retail or business goals.

Steps to Request a Quote

  1. Navigate to the Source Talent Section

    • Log in to The Folklore Dashboard.
    • Go to Source Talent > Discover Freelancers or Discover Manufacturers in the navigation bar to search for service providers.

  2. View Service Provider Profiles

    • Browse and click on a service provider’s profile to learn more about the services they offer, including their experience and capabilities.

  3. Send a Quote Request

    • Click the Request a Quote button located below the provider’s profile photo or logo.
    • Alternatively, scroll down to the quote request section on their profile page.

  4. Fill Out the Quote Request Form

    • Provide the required details about your project, including:
      • Manufacturers:
        • Description of services needed
        • Capabilities (i.e., desired services)
        • Number of SKUs
        • Number of units per SKU
      • Freelancers:
        • Description of services needed
        • Budget (hourly, weekly, monthly, or flat rate)
        • Service duration
        • Start date
    • Attach any relevant files if needed to provide additional context for the service provider.

  5. Submit the Quote Request

    • Review all entered information and click Submit Request to send the details to the service provider for review.

  • Attach Supporting Documents: Share sketches, references, or technical specifications to provide further context.
