Clarify Next Steps
- Share the official project start date and any initial deliverables.
- Agree on communication preferences for updates and progress check-ins.
Declining or Modifying Proposals
-
Declining Proposal
- If the information on the project scope is incorrect or you decide to not move forward with starting this new project, you can deny the project on the project page.
-
Modifying Proposal
- There is no way to modify a project proposal. If modifications are needed in order to accept the proposal, brands must message the service provider requesting the changes.
- The service provider must cancel the previously proposed project (as long as it has not already been accepted by the brand) and create an updated proposal for the brand to review.
Best Practices for Proposal Confirmation
- Be Responsive: Promptly reply to any service provider questions or concerns to maintain momentum.
- Ensure Transparency: Clearly outline the agreed scope of work, timelines, and payment terms in your messages.
- Follow Up Strategically: If you haven’t received a response, send a polite follow-up message to check the status of your proposal.
By efficiently managing proposal confirmations, you demonstrate professionalism and create a positive working relationship with service providers, setting the stage for a successful project.
