To ensure smooth project completion on The Folklore’s Source Talent platform, understanding how to pay deposits and balances is crucial. Below are the steps and details on how to make payments, along with accepted payment methods.
Payment Methods Accepted
The Folklore accepts the following payment methods for Source Talent projects:
- Credit/Debit Card
- Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) are accepted.
- PayPal
- PayPal is available for payment processing.
- Bank Transfers
- Bank transfers are accepted for larger transactions.
Deposit Payment

Activate Project with Deposit
- If a service provider requires a deposit, payment must be made to activate the project.
- To submit the deposit, visit the Projects page under Source Talent in the navigation bar, select the desired project page, click Approve, and fill out the payment details in the pop-up form.
- Once the deposit payment is submitted, the project is officially active, and the service provider can commence work.

No Deposit Required
- If the service provider does not require a deposit, the project becomes active as soon as the brand clicks Approve on the project page.
Balance Payment
- Pay Balance
- To pay the balance, navigate to the project page, click Submit Payment, and enter the payment details in the pop-up form.
- You can also select a card on file to complete the balance payment.
Payment Terms & Invoices
- Payment Terms: The service provider sets the payment terms, which are agreed upon before the project becomes active.
- Invoices: Payment invoices are submitted directly on the project page.
- Saving Payment Details: Brands can save cards to their profiles for future use and update or remove cards in the settings section.
Currency
- USD Only: The Folklore currently accepts only USD transactions.
