This policy outlines the rules for cancellations, return eligibility, and refund processing related to Source Talent services. Both brands and service providers must adhere to the following guidelines to ensure smooth transactions and clear expectations.
Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds Initiated by Service Providers
- Service providers may issue partial or full refunds at their discretion.

Refunds Initiated by Brands
- You may be eligible for a refund under the following conditions:
- The service provider does not complete the project according to the agreed Project Scope.
- The service provider cancels the project.
- The service provider delivers the project late.
- The service provider violates the platform’s terms and conditions.

Brand Cancellations
- You have 48 hours after accepting a project to cancel it and request a 100% refund for any deposits, including service fees.
- After 48 hours, service fees are non-refundable. Refunds of deposits or payments will depend on the service provider’s discretion.
Refund Guidelines for Cancelled or Incomplete Projects

Service Provider Cancellations
- If a service provider cancels a project after 48 hours without completing the Project Scope, they must return 100% of funds to .you
- The Folklore service fee is non-refundable after 48 hours.

Partial Deliverables
- If the service provider delivers partial services or products before cancellation, you have two options:
- Decline the deliverables: You receive a 100% refund but may not use or retain any services or deliverables provided. Any physical or digital deliverables must be returned at your expense.
- Accept the partial deliverables: You and service provider must agree on a prorated amount for the work completed. Any resulting refund or payment must be communicated to The Folklore for processing.
- If the service provider delivers partial services or products before cancellation, you have two options:
Refund Process

Collection of Refunds
- The Folklore must first collect funds from the service provider before issuing a refund to you.
- If the service provider fails to send the required funds, The Folklore cannot guarantee the refund. you may pursue legal action directly with the service provider.

Processing Time
- Once a refund is approved, it will be processed within 7–14 business days and returned to the original payment method.

Service Provider Responsibilities
- Service providers are notified of refund obligations via email and must return funds within 48 hours using the payment method specified in the repayment request.
Additional Notes
- The Folklore’s Role: While The Folklore facilitates refunds based on platform policies, it is not liable for funds unreturned by the service provider. The Folklore cannot be named in legal or collection actions taken against service providers.
- Refund Communication: You and service providers are encouraged to maintain open communication to resolve any disputes amicably before escalating to The Folklore.
By adhering to these guidelines, both you and service providers can ensure a fair and transparent process for handling cancellations, refunds, and project modifications.
