Managing the status of a project:
There are two ways to manage the status of a project and communicate important details to your service provider for a Source Project:
- The Folklore Messenger: On the platform using The Folklore “Messenger” to communicate with brands.
- Off-Platform: Off the platform, service providers can use email, phone, WhatsApp, etc. to communicate with brands. However, The Folklore will not have visibility to any communication and cannot guarantee support in the event of a dispute based on messages sent off the platform.
Modifying a project
- Pre-Activated Projected: here is no way to modify a Project on the platform. If modifications are needed in order to accept the Project, the service provider must then cancel the previously proposed Project and create an updated Project for the client to review.
- Post-Activated Project: Once a Project is marked as active, there is no way to modify the Project on the platform. If changes to the Project are needed, the service provider will need to email source@thefolklore.com to make the request and we will request modification confirmation from the client to proceed with the modification. Once confirmed by the client, the requested modifications will be reflected on the Project Scope page.
Canceling a project
To cancel a Project that is already active, service providers should message the brand requesting to cancel the Project. Service providers will then need to submit a request for cancellation by emailing source@thefolklore.com and we will request a cancellation confirmation from the client to proceed with the cancellation.
