Activating your products across various channels helps increase visibility and sales. Here are the steps to activate a product on The Folklore platform and the marketplaces, social media, and search platforms available.
Step 1: Log In to the Platform
- Begin by logging into your The Folklore dashboard.
Step 2: Navigate to Product Catalog
- Click on Products in the navigation menu.
- Select Product Catalog.
Step 3: Select the Product
- Find and click on the product you want to activate.
Step 4: Activate the Product
- On the top right of the product page, click the Status Button.
- From the drop-down menu, select Activate Product.
Step 5: Choose Activation Channels
A pop-up will appear with activation options:
- Activate on Consumer Storefront
- Activate on Wholesale Storefront
- Activate on 3rd Party Marketplace
- Activate on Social Media & Search
You can select any of these channels to activate your product on.
Step 6: Select Specific Marketplaces or Social Media Platforms
- If you select Activate on 3rd Party Marketplace, a drop-down menu will show the marketplaces you’ve been approved to sell on.
- If you select Activate on Social Media & Search, a drop-down menu will display available social media and search platforms to list your product on.
- You can activate your product on one or multiple channels at once.
- You also have the option to Activate on all 3rd Party Marketplaces or Activate on all Social Media & Search platforms.
Step 7: Submit Activation Request
- After selecting the desired platforms, click Activate to submit the product activation request.
Step 8: Confirmation and Missing Fields
- If the activation request is successfully submitted, a confirmation message will appear.
- If there are any missing fields required for activation, a bulleted list of these missing fields will appear. Ensure you fill them out before resubmitting.
Step 9: Product Status and Notification
- Once submitted, your product will be published to the platform.
- If the marketplace allows for instant product publishing, it will be live within hours, and you will receive a notification.
- If the marketplace requires approval and your product is denied, The Folklore will notify you with the reason for the denial.
Step 10: View Product Status
- You can track the status of your product and see which channels your product has been activated on by visiting the Product Page or Product Catalog Page.
By following these steps, your products will be activated across your chosen platforms, making them available for a broader audience.
