To begin receiving payments for orders, you need to add your brand’s official business bank account details. This step ensures that your payments are processed smoothly and efficiently.
Steps to Add Your Banking Details
1. Log in to Your Account
- Open The Folklore dashboard.
- Enter your email address and password to access your brand’s account.
2. Navigate to Account Settings
- On the bottom left corner of your dashboard, locate and click on the Account Settings icon.
- From the drop-down menu, select Bank and Payments.
3. Add Banking Information
- Enter the required details for your bank account, including:
- Bank Account Number
- Routing Number
- Tax ID (EIN)
- Any other relevant banking information that may have changed recently.
- Ensure all information is accurate to avoid discrepancies and ensure timely processing of payments.
Compatible Bank Accounts
If your bank is located in one of the eligible countries, Stripe will be used to process your payments seamlessly. Stripe is a trusted payment processor that allows us to transfer funds directly to your bank account. Eligible countries include, but are not limited to:
- U.S.
- Canada
- Australia
- United Kingdom
- Germany
- France
- Ireland
- Italy
- Netherlands
- Singapore
- New Zealand
- Brazil

To add your bank details for Stripe transfers:
- Log in to your account.
- Navigate to Bank and Payments under Account Settings.
- Enter your bank account number, routing number, country, and business tax ID (EIN).
- Once entered, click Save Changes to finalize your registration and set up Stripe payment processing.
Incompatible Bank Accounts
If your bank is not listed among the eligible countries, you will need to use the Bank Account Deposit Form for fund transfers. While this method works for regions not supported by Stripe, it may take 3-4 business days longer than Stripe payments to process.

4. Save and Complete Registration
- After entering your bank information, click Save Changes to complete the registration process and start receiving payments via Stripe.
